数年前、子どもが生まれたことをきっかけに記録用としてカメラを購入しましたが、当時はあまり使うことがなく、しばらく手元に置いたままになっていました。

転機となったのは、あるカメラ系YouTuberの動画を目にしたことです。
写真を「記録」ではなく「作品」として表現する考え方に触れ、次第に強く惹かれるようになりました。

2024年から本格的に作品制作を始め、現在は建築の一部を切り取り、形や色、構造を抽象的に表現する作品を中心に撮影しています。
遠くへ出かけて壮大な風景を撮ることも魅力的ですが、
身近な日常の中にも、まだ気づかれていない美しい被写体や表現の可能性があるのではないかと感じています。
そうした視点を、写真を通して伝えていけたらと思っています。

I am a photographer based primarily around Tokyo, Japan.
Several years ago, I purchased a camera to document the birth of my child, but at the time I rarely used it and it remained unused for a while.
The turning point came when I watched a video by a camera-focused YouTuber.
I encountered the concept of expressing photography not merely as “records” but as “artworks”, and gradually became deeply drawn to this approach.
I began creating works in earnest from 2024, and currently focus on photographing fragments of architecture, expressing their form, colour, and structure abstractly.
While travelling afar to capture grand landscapes holds its appeal,
I feel that within the familiar everyday, there remain unnoticed beautiful subjects and possibilities for expression.
I hope to convey this perspective through my photography.
